Real humans. Real experience. Real 3way Social Team.
We’re not a Silicon Valley startup chasing a vague “scale fast” dream.
We’re a small, mighty crew of real people who’ve built, broken, and rebuilt enough digital products to know one thing for sure:
Backlink building was due a serious glow-up.
So we made one. And here’s the team making it happen.
👨💻 Ian Naylor – Founder & Head of Product
Favourite thing to automate: Anything that involves spreadsheets
Tool I can’t live without: Slack (and a strong coffee)
Fuel of choice (beverage or snack): A close call between an americano or a pina colada slushie
Podcast always in my ears: Diary of a CEO
Fun fact: Likes to build (and race) Star Wars themed soap box carts (evidence below)
Ian’s a SaaS founder with over 20 years of experience building digital products that actually help small businesses grow. He founded AppInstitute, Hyperise, and more recently PageTest.ai, scaling them from scratch, and learning the hard way how painful (and outdated) link building can be. 3way.social is his answer to that pain – an ethical, efficient, and scalable way to build links without begging, spamming, or bribing.
When he’s not refining product features or streamlining matchmaking algorithms, he’s usually found in his home garage building something fun for his kids.
✍️ Becky Halls – UX & Content Strategy
Favourite browser extension (no judgement): Grammarly, because nobody needs my typo trauma
Most satisfying thing to fix in a website audit: Image alt text
If I could automate one life task, it’d be: The school run
One thing I Google too often: The weather in holiday destinations
SEO Pet Peeve: “Just write great content” as an actual strategy
Becky’s spent her career making complex things simple and readable. At 3way.social, she leads on content clarity, user experience, and making sure everything from your dashboard to your welcome email feels human, useful, and just a little bit fun.
She’s also the unofficial voice behind our social posts and blog, and a fierce advocate for building tools that genuinely help businesses grow – especially the ones without big teams or budgets.
💻 Dev & Support Team – The Quiet Legends
Most chaotic thing in our Google Drive: A folder called “Final_V4_ReallyFinal_Final”
Favourite Slack emoji: 🔧 (closely followed by 😵💫)
How we procrastinate like pros: Code debates. Usually about tabs vs spaces.
Fun fact: Someone once pushed a feature live from a campervan in Wales. It worked.
You may not see them, but you feel them – like all good SEO. This crew keeps the platform fast, safe, and working like magic. Hailing from the original AppInstitute team, they know how to build stable, scalable tools – and how to do it without melting your inbox when something breaks.
Why It Matters
We know the SEO space is full of overpromises, under-delivery, and “growth hacks” that don’t work. There’s also a lot of outdated (and just plain bad) advice out there. That’s not us.
We built 3way.social because we were tired of watching good websites get buried simply because they couldn’t play the backlink game at scale, or didn’t want to sign up to a sketchy link marketplace.
Here’s what we believe:
-
You shouldn’t need to employ an external SEO team to build quality links
-
Trading links shouldn’t feel like entering a dodgy online swap meet
-
Small sites deserve the same opportunities to grow as big players
-
Building authority should be about relevance and relationships, not shady tactics
At 3way.social, we’re building something better.
Something ethical. Transparent. Actually useful.
We’re creating a platform where:
-
You get matched with real, relevant sites (based on your industry, keywords, domain strength and traffic)
-
You can trade, buy, or sell links in a way that makes sense for your strategy
-
Everyone from solo bloggers to agencies can grow without begging or overpaying
We’re not here to game the system.
We’re here to help you build a healthy, visible, trustworthy site using SEO that works with Google’s direction, not against it.
We feel that you shouldn’t have to choose between building a good brand… and building good backlinks.
We’re here to:
-
Help you build real links from real sites
-
Make backlink building more accessible
-
And give smaller teams and solo founders the edge they’ve been missing
