Terms of Service

    Last updated: 8 October 2026

    Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and 3way.Social, the trading name of Ian Naylor, a sole trader at The Old Granary, Church Street, Whatton, Nottingham NG13 9EL, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at ian@3way.social.

They cover the website 3way.social, the app at app.3way.social, credits and cash-outs, and the SEO packages we sell on 3way.social.

By creating an account, buying credits or ordering an SEO package, you accept these terms. If you use 3way.Social for a company or other organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you are allowed to do so.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Help Center at support.3way.social/en explains step by step how the platform works. If the Help Center and these terms differ, these terms apply.

    Business use only

3way.Social is for business and professional use. By signing up, you confirm that you act for business or professional purposes, for example for a company, as an agency or freelancer, or as a website publisher. The service is not meant for individuals using it for a personal hobby.

    Your account

    • You must be at least 18 years old.
    • Give accurate details and keep them up to date, including your PayPal email address if you want to cash out.
    • An account is for one person or organisation. Do not sell, transfer or share it.
    • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

    How the marketplace works

3way.Social is a marketplace where members trade backlinks with each other.

    • Listing domains: you may list only websites that you own or are authorised to place links on. For each domain you choose the services you offer (giving links, receiving links and guest posts) and can set guidelines for other members.
    • Link exchanges and link insertions: a member asks another member to add a link to existing content on their site, or offers to add one on their own site.
    • Guest posts: a member pitches an article for another member's site. The site owner sets the guest post price within the range the app allows, from the domain's credit value up to twice that value.
    • AI suggestions: our tools suggest partners, pages and keywords. They are suggestions only. Check them yourself before you send or accept a request.
    • Domain values: we calculate each domain's credit value from third-party metrics (such as rating and traffic), our own spam score and the domain's category. Values can change when metrics are updated. We do not guarantee that third-party metrics are accurate.

Deals are agreements between members. We run the platform, lock and release credits and check links, but we do not write, place or control the content on members' websites.

    Credits

    • Credits are the unit used to pay for deals on 3way.Social. You earn credits when you place links or publish guest posts for other members, and you can buy them.
    • You buy credits by card through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay. Buying more credits at once can lower the price per credit. We may change prices for future purchases.
    • Credits are not money, not legal tender and not a deposit. They earn no interest and can only be used on 3way.Social. You can exchange them for money only through a cash-out, as described below.
    • While a deal is in progress, the credits for it are locked: you cannot spend them on anything else. When we verify that the link is live, the locked credits are released to the member who placed it. If the deal is rejected, expires or is cancelled before that, the credits go back to the buyer.
    • If credits reach your account by mistake, we may correct your balance.
    • Rewards for inviting new members are shown on the Invite page in the app. We may withhold or remove rewards gained through self-referrals or other abuse.

    Deals

    • You send a request to another member, who can accept it or reject it. For a link insertion, they can also suggest a different page; you can then approve it, suggest another page or reject the deal.
    • A deal that stays pending with no action for 30 days is rejected automatically, and any locked credits go back to the buyer.
    • Until the link is verified, the buyer can withdraw from a pending deal, and the locked credits go back to the buyer.
    • Once both sides have agreed, the member providing the link places it, or publishes the guest post, as agreed. We then check that it is live and release the credits.
    • Use the deal chat for questions about a deal, and keep all deal communication on 3way.Social.
    • When you reject a request, you choose a reason. If you repeatedly reject requests for a service, or leave them unanswered, we switch that service off for your domain, so that members do not send you requests you will not accept. If you say that you do not offer a service, we switch it off straight away. You can switch services back on in your domain settings.

    Cash-outs

    • You can cash out any amount of your available credits at any time, with no minimum, from the balance menu. Locked credits cannot be cashed out.
    • You need to add your PayPal email address in your billing details first.
    • Credits are exchanged for US dollars at the current exchange rate. The rate changes with activity on the platform: it goes down as more members cash out and up as more deals are completed and more credits are bought. When you cash out, the app shows the current rate and your cash-out value in US dollars.
    • Our team pays cash-outs by hand through PayPal, usually every one to two weeks.
    • We may hold or refuse a cash-out while we look into suspected fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms. If we do, we will tell you why.
    • PayPal's own terms and any fees it charges apply to your PayPal account.
    • You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn through 3way.Social.

    Refunds and payment disputes

Refunds for credits and SEO packages are handled by our team, case by case. If something went wrong with a payment, contact us first through the chat or at ian@3way.social. Please do this before you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider.

If a card payment is reversed, we may remove the credits bought with it from your balance and limit your account until the matter is settled.

    SEO packages

On 3way.social we also sell done-for-you link-building packages.

    • What a package includes, its price and the expected delivery time are shown on the order page and at checkout. You pay by card through Stripe.
    • Our team delivers the package, using the details you give in your order, such as your target website, keywords and brief. We may contact you if we need more information.
    • Monthly packages are charged every month until you cancel. To cancel, contact us. Any commitment period or discount shown at checkout applies.
    • What we say below about rankings and traffic applies to packages too.

No guarantee of rankings or traffic

Search engines decide rankings themselves and change their rules often. We do not promise any ranking, traffic, indexing or other result from links, guest posts or SEO packages.

You are responsible for your own compliance with search engine guidelines, for example labelling paid links with rel="sponsored" where those guidelines require it, and with the law that applies to you, such as rules on advertising disclosure.

    Platform rules

Acceptable websites. Every domain you list must:

    • be a legitimate website with mainly informational content, not a clear-cut affiliate site
    • not be a private blog network (PBN), link farm, directory, user-generated content site (such as Medium or Wikipedia) or a site with duplicate content
    • have a clean history, with no search engine penalties
    • have a low spam score: 30 or less on our scale from 1 to 100
    • not carry spammy links (such as casino, essay or adult sites) or phrases like "write for us" or "guest post" in its header, footer or sidebar
    • follow white-hat SEO practices only
    • offer at least one service; domains with no service selected may be removed

Links. Links must be permanent, easy to find in the content and placed as agreed (page, anchor text and target). They must not be nofollow.

    Behaviour. You must not:

    • take deals off the platform, for example by asking for or sharing email addresses, social accounts or other contact details to move a deal or payment outside 3way.Social
    • list domains you do not control
    • list a site for one service in order to upsell another (bait and switch)
    • send spammy, irrelevant or large numbers of low-quality requests, or try to get around request limits or other limits of the platform
    • use offensive language, hate speech or harassment
    • link to or from websites that are malicious, spammy or illegal, or add anything illegal or that infringes other people's rights
    • use several accounts, fake deals or other tricks to gain credits or rewards
    • attack, overload or interfere with the platform

Please follow other members' guidelines and answer requests in good time.

Penalties. If you break these rules, we may warn you, restrict your account for a time, switch off or remove domains, hold cash-outs, or suspend or close your account. We decide case by case.

    Inactive domains

If a domain's services have been switched off after repeated rejections and your account then stays inactive for 30 days, with no open deals or locked credits on that domain, we may release the domain. It is archived in your account, you can no longer manage it, and another member who controls the website can add it. Your deal history stays available.

    Content and reports

You keep ownership of what you add to 3way.Social, such as domain listings, guidelines, guest posts and messages. You allow us to store, show and process it as needed to run the platform.

We may remove content, hide listings, hold cash-outs, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. When we do, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law or safety prevents it. If you disagree, reply to us at ian@3way.social and a person will review the decision.

To report illegal content or a breach of these terms, email ian@3way.social with the URL, domain or deal concerned and the reason. See our Legal notice.

    Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time by deleting it in the app. If the app does not let you, for example because of your deals or a pending cash-out, email us. Closing your account removes your domains and your credit balance, so cash out any credits you want to keep first.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect members or the platform. Where we can, we will tell you before we act and explain why.

    Liability

    • We provide 3way.Social as it is and as available. We work to keep it running well but cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
    • We are not responsible for other members' websites, content or conduct.
    • We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or business opportunities, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
    • Our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
    • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

    Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or on the site before they take effect. If you keep using 3way.Social after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with them, you can close your account.

    Law and courts

These terms and any dispute about them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but this does not stop either of us from bringing a claim in another court where the law allows.

These terms are written in English. If we publish a translation and it differs from the English version, the English version applies. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
